Jack rafters can be positioned directly adjacent to each other on opposite sides of the hip bar - they do not have to be offset. This ensures that the conservatory designer has complete control of the roof layout in order to achieve correct alignment and avoid customer complaints.
Jack rafters are secured to the hip bar using a single bolt fixing.
